ShowpieceApp Store screenshot sizes
Every screenshot size App Store Connect accepts, for every Apple device, and which ones are required. Sizes are in pixels, portrait first. To check files you've made, use the screenshot size checker.
Screenshot requirements
- Format: PNG or JPEG, with no transparency.
- Color: sRGB or Display P3.
- How many: up to 10 per device size and language, and at least one for each required size.
- Required sizes: one per platform the app runs on, marked Required below.
- Landscape: iPhone, iPhone Duo and iPad screenshots can be landscape, with the width and height swapped.
iPhone
App Store Connect scales screenshots down for smaller iPhones that have none of their own, so most apps upload one large size.

iPhone Duo
Each display has its own screenshots. Apple says they become required from April 2027 for apps built with the iOS 27.1 SDK or later.

iPad

iOS 27 product page header and search results images
From iOS and iPadOS 27, App Store Connect also takes marketing images that appear across the top of the product page and in search results. Upload a header and a search results image, or one universal image that App Store Connect crops into both.

On iPhone, the product page shows the header at about 3:2, so only the middle two-thirds of a 21:9 header is visible, and the back and share buttons sit over its top corners. Keep the title and any device near the middle. A universal image loses even more at the sides, so a separate header and search results image work better.
Questions
What size should App Store screenshots be?
For iPhone, Apple asks for at least one screenshot for iPhones with Dynamic Island (medium display): 1206 × 2622 or 1179 × 2556 pixels in portrait. Larger sizes, such as 1320 × 2868 for 6.9″ iPhones, are accepted too, and App Store Connect scales screenshots down for smaller iPhones. For iPad, 2064 × 2752 (13″). For Mac, 2880 × 1800 or another 16:10 size.
Which screenshot sizes are required?
iPhone: at least one screenshot for iPhones with Dynamic Island (medium display). iPad: at least one for the 13″ display, if the app runs on iPad. Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV and Apple Vision Pro: required for apps on those platforms. The other sizes are optional.
How many screenshots can I upload?
