Are my screenshots uploaded?
No. The checker reads each file in your browser, and nothing leaves your computer.
What does the checker look at?
The image's width and height in pixels, whether it's a PNG or JPEG, and whether a PNG has any transparent pixels, which App Store Connect doesn't accept.
What if my screenshot is a few pixels off?
App Store Connect rejects screenshots that aren't an exact size. The checker shows the closest size so you can export again at that size.
